From September 15 to 17, the 29th China International Adhesives & Sealants Expo (ASE CHINA) came to a successful close at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Guangdong Komo Group Co., Ltd. ("KOMO") presented its full range of rosin resin products at the show, with premium offerings in the spotlight — including biodegradable tackifying resins, water-white hydrogenated rosin, and high-performance rosin resins for solvent-based adhesives.
Throughout the expo, KOMO welcomed a steady stream of domestic and international customers and industry peers at its booth. The KBD series of biodegradable rosin resins on display comply with the EU EN 13432 standard for industrial compostability and biodegradability and carry the "Seedling" certification mark. They are primarily intended for environmentally friendly hot-melt adhesives, packaging adhesives and similar applications. Equally well-received were the water-white hydrogenated rosin products, which feature a water-white color, excellent thermal stability and low odor, and find wide application across high-performance adhesives, UV-curable adhesives, medical adhesives, cosmetics, and electronic chemicals. Together, the two product lines answer the downstream market's twin demand for green solutions and high performance, and further underscore the adhesive industry's upward shift toward premiumization and sustainability.
As one of China's leading and the world's major suppliers of deep-processed rosin derivatives, KOMO has been rooted in the pine chemicals industry for more than three decades. The Group has taken part in drafting multiple national standards for the rosin industry, and its rosin resin output and sales have consistently ranked among the top in China for years running. With nine production facilities located close to the source regions for Pinus elliottii, Pinus massoniana and Pinus kesiya, KOMO ensures prompt and stable supply. Its product portfolio includes rosin esters, hydrogenated rosin, disproportionated rosin and liquid resins, serving markets including hot-melt adhesives, solvent-based adhesives, coatings and inks.
